They regulate the examination held for the Arts, Science and Commerce stream in Assam. AHSEC officially announce their results in the month of June, depending on the examination held.

    The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council was established by the government of Assam on 1 June 1984. Their main goals are to regulate, supervise and develop the Higher Secondary Education system of Assam. They also provide the curriculum, syllabus and examinations to build the career of our students of Assam. They also reward those students who have successfully passed the AHSEC Examination every year. The AHSEC Board conduct exams for three different streams as follows Arts, Science and Commerce.

    There are about a couple of lakhs students those who appear for the HS Final Exam / 12th  Exam each year. From those many students shine their career by making distinctions or 80% plus marks in the exam. They are also rewarded with scholarships from the state government. Also, there is a failure rate of 30% percentage. This rate is improving yearly, now fewer students fail as compared to before. The declaration of result for last year is on May 31, and for this year we should expect for the release date in between May to June. I will inform you through updates as we get the result date.
